Parking:

There are tons of parking options around the Promenade, from public parking structures to meters, to street parking. If you plan to really go for it today, we strongly suggest leaving your car parked where it is overnight. The parking structures charge a daily maximum of $14, and on Sundays they’re free from 6am – 11am. This means that so long as you pick up your car by 11am tomorrow, the most you’ll be charged is $14. Meters are free on Sundays, so if you leave your car at a meter you can pick it up any time tomorrow.

Taxis are easy to hail around the Promenade, and there’s always Uber and Lyft if you’re into something less traditional.

Uber: Download Uber at uber.com/invite/9x2z6 and and get $10 off your first ride

Whichever way you choose - DON’T DRINK AND DRIVE!

PRIZES!!!

At our after party at Monsoon, we’ll be raffling off tons of fabulous prizes, so make sure to be there no later than 7:15pm if you want to claim yours! You must be present to win.

Every registrant will receive 1 raffle ticket for participating, 2 raffle tickets if you’re wearing our tuxedo t-shirt, and 3 raffle tickets if you’re dressed in Prom attire.

Santa Monica Jaycee FAQ: What is a Jaycee?

A ‘Jaycee‘ is a member of the Junior Chamber; the organization is the only non-political and non-sectarian youth organization in the world. Its members are men and women between the ages of 21-40, and they convene regularly in local chapters to build connections and community. Bill Clinton, Jacque Chirac, Al Gore, and Prince Albert II of Monaco are some of the many alumni of this international community service organization.

Although The Jaycees are most active in their local community chapters, Jaycees worldwide share common values, mission and vision:

Jaycee International Mission and Vision: To provide development opportunities that empower young people to create positive change, and to be the leading global network of young, active citizens.

Jaycee International Values:

We believe:
That faith in God gives meaning and purpose to human life;
That the brotherhood of man transcends the sovereignty of nations;
That economic justice can best be won by free men through free enterprise;
That government should be of laws rather than of men;
That Earth’s great treasure lies in human personality;
And that service to humanity is the best work of life.
